The Symptom Evaluator works best when the window is as large as possible

If you use Netscape:

  The Window will get a little larger with each of the techniques below, try them all!

In Communicator (4.02 or similar):

  Click on each one of the small textured vertical bars at the far left of your screen

  To restore these features click on the small textured horizontal bars which they have become

  Pull down the Options Menu

  If 'Show Toolbar' is Checked; Highlight it and Release

  If 'Show Location' is Checked; Highlight it and Release

  If 'Show Directory Buttons' is Checked; Highlight it and Release

  If 'Show Java Console' is Checked; Highlight it and Release

  If newer releases have 'Show Something Else' Checked; Highlight it and Release

  To restore these items: Pull down the Options Menu,
Highlight your choice(s) and Release

   If you don't commonly use any of these, why clutter your screen with them?

If you use other Browsers

  Try the above techniques in Options, View or Window Menu headings
